Musings ... I guess?

My blog turned 4 and I didn't even pay my blog a visit, let alone write something nice about it. (oh by the way, that was a long time ago.) Couldn't come up with a good starting line. Lame huh? Alright , I give up. Who am I kidding anyway! Never ever been good at that, but hoping to be someday. :) Hey now what's wrong with hoping huh? For all we know, hope is a good thing,maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies(rhetorical I know) . Okay this is getting ridiculous. I so get carried away and I am not gonna let that happen now. Now coming to the point,( well I don't really have a point) . This is just me trying to get back in form. Its been ages(literally) since I blogged and I feel terrible about it. Few years ago I have been so obsessed with blogging that I check every once in a while to see if someone has dropped a comment. I check Indiblogger way too often than necessary,to see if someone has voted for my post and this has been my crazy routine for a couple of months no matter what. I so eagerly wait to see my ranking and one sweet comment used to make my day. 

Today I'm wondering where that part of me is. Has it just faded away or have I become way too busy to not find time for something I used to be crazy about. Well the answer is very simple and it pricks me as hard as ice. I lost interest. I wouldn't let myself believe that as well but that doesn't make that any less true. 

Every time someone asks me something about my blog, I brush it away saying, I just stopped. Somewhere in between, I lost interest and why is that, I have no idea. Now how many of you can relate to this? Not necessarily your blog, but just anything that you used to love doing but you no longer do. Can you think of a reason why you stopped doing it? 

This crazy life of ours has made our routine so monotonous that we stop doing things that made us who we are now. Never ever let that old self of you die. No matter how busy you are and how much you get carried away, take some time away  from this crazy routine and spend some time with yourself, for all its worth, we get to live only once and there is no promised tomorrow. I do not wish to make a promise or anything of that sort, but I will strive really hard to not let that part of me die. 

If this post, in anyway, got you thinking, nothing makes me more happy than that and if you thought reading this was a waste of time , ha who cares what you think, its my blog! :D :D 

~~Engulfing Darkness~~

Here I sit, staring at the sky 
wondering if my life is as blank 
the darkness engulfing me
trying hard to break free
my vision blurred with the tear drops
fighting their way, oblivious to the outside world
embarrassment holding them tight
as I wait for the source of light
to illuminate the darkness
I am betrayed for the umpteenth time.
Still there lies a tinge of hope
like the stars that adorn the sky,
that sparkles its way throughout the night.
I will wait, wait for that day
when wishes would be fulfilled, 
dreams would come true.
If fate is iron strong,
so is my faith..!!

Zindagi na milegi dubara

Zindagi na milegi dubara--- You don't get a 2nd shot at life...
A recent Hindi flick directed by Zoya Akhtar starring Hrithik Roshan as Arjun, Farhan Akthar as Imraan, Abhay Deol as Kabir, Katrina Kaif as Laila and Kalki Koechlin as Natasha. The movie starts with the trio (Arjun, Kabir and Imraan) going on a Bachelor trip to Spain pretty much like the hangover movie. 

Realization!

All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms.
And then the whining school-boy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lined,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slipper'd pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side,
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank; and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

Fascinating Fairy tales :)

As a kid, i have always marvelled at the way fairy tales lure me into a deep slumber full of fascinating things which one would always want.. And i still do!!
One main reason i always love to watch/read them is 

"Fairy tales always have a happy ending" 

Be it Cinderella  or Rapunzel, the storyline is one and the same.. There is this very beautiful girl(not just beautiful but is also highly talented in anything and everything) leading a miserable life and a prince charming aka the saviour comes for her rescue and "they live happily ever after." Yeah as you would be thinking the storyline looks really dumb , it definitely wins over the female population who loves anything romantic! So we end up shedding few drops of tears at the end! 


Growing up with those tales,we fail to admire the beauty of life. Such stories have clouded our vision that we fail to understand what life is most of the time or rather we didn't actually understand what those stories intended to communicate! Everyone's life is indeed a fairy tale . A fairy tale where the prince charming takes a little more time than the usual ones to show up.  But he will ,nevertheless. If its not an happy ending then its not an ending at all. We are not the script writer when it comes to our story. As the saying goes, "As you sow,so you reap" you can make your story a better one by your good deeds which is nothing but improvisation ..

The epitome of happiness..!!

Happiness as defined by a lay man-- "Its all about a tranquil life and yeah sophisticated indeed.. without any twists and bends.. and its all about him/her"
Its indeed disheartening to see how people are so selfish and self centered..
and when we see someone who is very caring and selfless, we are wonder struck. But that's how humans are supposed to be, is it not?? unfortunately a person who actually behaves like a human is alienated..




Happiness is just not about ourselves.. nothing can equal the glee that is obtained by making the people around us happy.. but most of us fail to understand that.. Try helping someone wholeheartedly and i bet you will know what the epitome of happiness actually mean.. The urge to earn and to lead a happy life(as defined by a lay man)has made him callous.. blasphemy prevails.. :| Few people have even gone to the extent of letting other people down if it adds a feather to one's cap.. Words like sacrifice has totally lost its meaning and i can see that they will soon be erased even from the dictionary.

Mad mad world!!!

Expect the most and you are disappointed the most...

Never knew this trivial phrase had so much meaning and it can actually hurt..
Its now that i have realized that things always don't work as we wish it would be..


I find everything in this world completely bogus...
People no more value relationship... Its always that they want their job to be done and later you stay or u leave doesn't make any difference to them.. Its pure exploitation..
But certain fools do fall as their prey.. Don't think i am having a prejudiced opinion.. Its all reality.. I am not offending the whole lot, but such people do exist and all i want to tell IS, please stay away from such people.. Do not be an easy prey..

I was just wondering if people even know its meaning.. its very disheartening to see things happening these days...
everyday we hear some or the other news of innocent people being killed.. i feel quite ashamed to call ourselves literates if we are not able to do anything about this. one thing is very clear. we are all digging our own grave. how ridiculous!!! but we easily put the blame on others and carry on with our own work.. "after all we are all worried about ourselves. who cares what happens around.." OUTRAGEOUS!!!!
Even a third grade kid will know that anything can be achieved only by non violence.
if this goes on, there wont be a life on earth..

Trivial yet Universal

well people, The title doesn't say anything about what this post is going to be. right??
Its about all those silly craziest things(can be called so) on earth which we forget most of the times,
which can make us feel heaven, which makes us jubilant and i can just go on and on.

In a world as this where people give more importance to money and stuffs like that there are certain trifling things which though can give a highly exhilarating feeling are often ignored by many.
The greed for a sophisticated lifestyle has blinded many.
now just analyze how you feel under these circumstances


1) How about a morning walk in a mist covered pathway with a group of friends??
