The price we pay for democracy!!

To start with, Democracy means "for the people,of the people and by the people"
which clearly states, we the people of India get to choose the person who is going to lead us which implies he/she must have a sound knowledge or atleast a good leadership quality but its really depressing to see that its lacking in our country.
It either has to be that our country is no more a democratic one or that they have redefined democracy and it never hit the headlines.
I dare say that the root cause for all this is corruption!
Is corruption the price we pay for democracy??
In our so called democratic rule,people are lured into the act of bribery..
Recent scams prove beyond any shadow of doubt that money has an upper hand in almost any issue..

The "calm" after the "Storm"

The calm after the storm may ring a bell to many of you..
But if you are thinking exactly what i am thinking, then hey hi 5 :)
and for the rest.. well its nothing but the vacations..
2 months of sleepless nights, tormenting books, intimidating syllabus, complaining parents, what more could be best described as hell to a student as me(here, i am talking about a normal student, and not about i-finish-day-to-day-lessons-as-soon-as-i-go-home people)
It sure is..

VTV-A feel good sensible love story :)

VTV expanded as "vinnai thandi varuvaya" starring Simbu and Trisha is a feel good love story.. A very sensible and practical one after such a long time.. I don't really remember how long its been since I saw a movie as this. A non commercial flick is what interests me a lot. This movie demands a mature audience for sure. All those who actually laughed seeing that movie, I should say “ you don’t want to accept the reality.” And for people who feel I am exaggerating, please quit reading immediately.. This is just not the kind of post that will interest you.
And now continuing with the topic.

The epitome of happiness..!!

Happiness as defined by a lay man-- "Its all about a tranquil life and yeah sophisticated indeed.. without any twists and bends.. and its all about him/her"
Its indeed disheartening to see how people are so selfish and self centered..
and when we see someone who is very caring and selfless, we are wonder struck. But that's how humans are supposed to be, is it not?? unfortunately a person who actually behaves like a human is alienated..




Happiness is just not about ourselves.. nothing can equal the glee that is obtained by making the people around us happy.. but most of us fail to understand that.. Try helping someone wholeheartedly and i bet you will know what the epitome of happiness actually mean.. The urge to earn and to lead a happy life(as defined by a lay man)has made him callous.. blasphemy prevails.. :| Few people have even gone to the extent of letting other people down if it adds a feather to one's cap.. Words like sacrifice has totally lost its meaning and i can see that they will soon be erased even from the dictionary.

That "someone"!!

Not everyday in my life, do I get to meet that special one..
not everyday turns out to be a lucky one!!
But ya, one day I got to meet..
when I wished the time to freeze..
when I was completely filled with the feeling of ecstasy.
when everything surrounding me looked so beautiful.
when I could hear the chirping of birds day and night..
when I was totally lost in thoughts..
when all I wished was to stay beside him forever..
never ever thought such a thing would ever happen to me..
and when that finally happened, there was my mom next to me waking me up.,
saying..




Wake up.. its 6 and you gotta get ready!!

Then did I realise, it was all a dream and that its gonna remain  :P

Mad mad world!!!

Expect the most and you are disappointed the most...

Never knew this trivial phrase had so much meaning and it can actually hurt..
Its now that i have realized that things always don't work as we wish it would be..


I find everything in this world completely bogus...
People no more value relationship... Its always that they want their job to be done and later you stay or u leave doesn't make any difference to them.. Its pure exploitation..
But certain fools do fall as their prey.. Don't think i am having a prejudiced opinion.. Its all reality.. I am not offending the whole lot, but such people do exist and all i want to tell IS, please stay away from such people.. Do not be an easy prey..
